Full HD 1920x1080 Recording

Native 1920x1080 resolution is maintained throughout the recording to playback process from lens, CCD, MPEG2 Transport Stream and output via HDMITM or USB2.0 with no quality-degrading conversion.

Up to 24 Hours of HD Recording

Internal high-capacity HDD allows long recording times. With the GZ-HD6, you can store up to 24 hours of HD video (LP mode).

1080/50P Output

Using the same technology as DynaPix HD displays, this function outputs a 1080 scanning line image at progressive 50fps so you can enjoy uncompromising picture quality on a TV that accepts 1080P input.

HDMI™ (V.1.3 with x.v.Colour™)

The output signal features a wider colour space through application of the xvYCC colour standard, known as x.v.Colour™. This universal standard provides more accurate colour reproduction with more detail and more shades. Among the colours that the human eye is capable of perceiving, x.v.Colour™ can display 100% of them whereas the traditional (sRGB) system can only display approx. 55%.

HD Gigabrid Engine

Uses five digital noise-reduction algorithms as well as signal processing to improve vertical scan resolution by approx. 30% over JVC’s previous interlace technology for
an extremely clear sharp image.

More storage and easy transfer with microSD

GZ-HD6 has a slot for microSD Card so you can store video and stills on both the built-in HDD and a commonly available memory card (not supplied). Now copy video and stills from the bilt-in HDD to the microSD card. Sharing is even easier.

Easy operation from a distance

Provided remote control to operate Everio from a distance for playback, DVD burning, etc. just like a DVD deck.

FUJINON Professional Optical Zoom Lens

An extremely high-performance lens developed by the leader in professional HD broadcast and motion picture cameras. It offers nearly the same brightness (F1.8-F1.9) throughout its entire 10x optical zoom range.

Three 1/5” Progressive Scan CCDs

Three individual 1/5-inch CCDs – one for each primary colour – gather more visual information to deliver more realistic colour reproduction.

The HD Everio™'s optics use 3-dimensional angle mounting technology to assure high precision prism/CCD registration with extreme accuracy on the order of one micron.

Focus Assist Function

Focus Assist outlines in-focus image contours in colour so you can easily tell which parts of the image
are in or out of focus.

Zebra Function

Displays a striped pattern across highlight areas on the image, making it easier to manually set the exposure.

PC-less Archiving and Viewing Solution

Just connect to the optional SHARE STATION CU-VD40 via USB2.0 and you can archive your Full HD video files on DVD-R/RW or dual-layer DVD-R discs. Playback is possible directly from CU-VD40 to your connected TV/Display.

Multiple Digital Interfaces

HD Everio is equipped with USB2.0 for file saving, HDMITM for digital viewing on large screen displays, and i.LINK to stream high definition video in 1440CBR mode or standard definition video as DV.
