120GB Hard Disk Drive Built-In

This model is equipped with a high capacity HDD to record video and still images. Internal media means no need to buy additional discs and tapes. Since it's HDD, you can directly access the scene you want and delete the scene you don't want on the spot. Also, there's no risk of erasing previous recordings by mistake. Up to 50 hours of HD recording.

SHARE STATION non-PC Full HD Archiving

The HD Everio™ can be connected to the optional HD Everio™ SHARE STATION CU-VD40 or CU-VD50 via USB 2.0 cable. This SHARE STATION lets you create HD data discs to archive HD video clip files and writes to both DVD-R and DVD-RW discs. It also allows for the creation of digital stills in a JPEG format. Dual-layer DVD-R is also supported, which means that the combination of the HD Everio™ and the share station provides a PC-less solution to the high-capacity archiving needs of HD content. HD and still files can be played back in ultra-high quality via the share station's HDMI output without the use of a computer or the camcorder.
